I wanted to share a great story about one of the WTAMU students who planned to come on this trip. His name is James Chandler, he's the place kicker fot the WT Buffs. The Saturday before their Sunday departure, all his luggage, money, and passport were stolen. He is not a U.S. citizen, he is from England. He was told there was no way possible for him to get a replacement passport in time for him to make the trip. He called his group to inform them and asked them to pray. He found out on Tuesday that there was a chance to get a temporary passport so on Wednesday he flew to Houston to the British Embasy where he was able to get the temporary passport. Then he was able to get a seat on the same flight we were on from LAX to Taiwan. The flight was completly booked making it evident that God's hand was in this for James to be here. He is such a neat kid who is really on fire for Christ. It is evident to me why satan worked so hard trying to keep him from coming. He has really connected to some of the students here.
We had a great experience at the church we attended this morning even though we could not undestand what was being said. We really felt a connection with the people in the church as they sang and worshiped. Please keep them and us in your prayers.
